Originally a single storey building, the Riverside Center has been renovated and expanded into a two-storey space. A variety of financial aid is offered to international students, including scholarships, grants, loans and graduate assistantships. There is also financial assistance available for specific programs at the university.
Partial academic scholarships are awarded to undergraduate international students with exceptional grades, including SAT and TOEFL scores. The amount received will depend on the applicant’s achievements, with scholarships worth up to USD 11,000 per academic year.
Awarded by invitation only to selected postgraduate students, graduate assistantships award a tuition waiver for up to 12 credit hours per semester and a USD 1,500 stipend. To receive this funding, graduate assistants need to work for an academic or administrative office for 20 hours each week, whilst also studying for eight credit hours and maintaining an overall GPA of 3.25.
