Victoria University (VU), Melbourne, ranks in the top two percent of universities globally (THE World University Rankings, 2024). The VU Bachelor of Business can be completed at Sunway College. Students can opt for a transfer to VU or other Australian or New Zealand universities.

A rising star in bowling, Gillian Lim is a proud alumna from the Diploma in Communication (DCOM) programme (2019–2022). She has earned her place as one of ASEAN's top athletes, ranking third in Asia in 2024.

Alumnus Andrew Chong (ACCA, 2016) has built an impressive global career, transitioning from EY Malaysia to becoming a key player in mergers, acquisitions and strategic finance. Today, as the founder of uPledge and Portio Capital, Andrew’s journey symbolises perseverance, hard work and adaptability.

International students applying to Sunway College must have qualifications equivalent to the Malaysian School Certificate, also known as Sijil Persekolahan Malaysia (SPM), and IGCSE. Exact requirements vary based on the level of study and type of course that is being applied to. Full details can be found on the college’s course pages.
International students apply to Sunway College directly. All application documents and initial payment must be submitted to International Office at least eight weeks before the intake date.
The application process is as follows:
Students must meet the eligibility criteria for all areas of their application. Applicants should email to confirm eligibility before applying.
Students must submit the International Student Application Form, attaching all the required documents, including English language test results if applicable (e.g. IELTS or TOEFL).
Students are advised to thoroughly read the requirements prior to application and prepare their documentation in advance.
Once students have had their eligibility confirmed, they must make two payments:
Successful applicants will receive offer letters via email within three working days.
Students must accept their offer, sign and return their Acceptance of Offer, along with any outstanding documents, to the International Office. The International Office will apply for a Malaysian Student Pass upon receiving all the required documentation and payments.
The Student Pass processing time is six to eight weeks.
A Visa Approval Letter (VAL) will be issued once a student pass is approved. The student VAL is valid for six months from the issued date. Once expired, a new visa is required (with payment).
