Honestly, i have a distinction average and many distinctions. I cannot find any work. After graduating I have recently found not only am i not able to get any work post completing my intensive pathology laboratory medicine / microbiology immunology course. I can not even get volunteer work, an internship, work experience but lots of opportunities are privided according to your blog? Really? I have spoken to hundreds of students and the majority are experiencing what i am even after post graduate studies. Do you want to pay $60,000 plus other expenses to not be employed? My advice is try research your interests prior. They do not usually provide opportunities it is very money and research focused. Otherwise youll end up with debt. Having to deal with beurocracy throughout your studies and have nothing to show. I had a great time. I am smarter and more prepared for life than i was before. But at times there was little or no support provided by them. No opportunities despite the sleepless night and efforts to make the professors happy. This is the whole picture. I loved my time there. It was great. Id probably do it again. But sadly the emphasis is on the universities desires not your own so please dont mistake that and research their policies and your life plans before starting as it will help you greatly. Now i will likely do a completely unrelated post grad to get a job in a field that i kinda like as i dont want to start a new bachelors. Goodluck guys. This message may get deleted... But i hope it does not. Goodluck :) Sincerely Anonymous show less

Spending a year at the University of Western Australia (UWA) was a right decision. I have learnt different cultures in UWA because I made a lot of new friends of different nationalities there. Also, the teachers have given a lot of precious suggestions to my studies as well as career. I also liked the environment around UWA as everyone seemed friendly and willing to help when I needed any. I also loved the campus as it was so green and big and full of sports facilities. show less
