The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is a post-secondary educational institution located in the central interior of British Columbia.
CNC offers over 70 programs designed to meet the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s workforce. To ensure that students can focus fully on their studies and reach their highest potential without financial strain, CNC provides an extensive platform of financial support services. The college's financial services department offers free, confidential consultations to help any student with issues related to student loans. They also provide guidance throughout the process of applying for additional funding, ensuring that students receive the financial assistance they need.
CNC has a substantial endowment fund, which allows the institution to offer more than 300 different scholarships, bursaries, and awards. These financial awards range in value from CAD 250 to CAD 2,000. Some of these awards are based on merit, while others are needs-based, ensuring that students from a variety of backgrounds have access to support. Importantly, these awards do not need to be repaid.
There are subject-specific scholarships, as well as bursaries for both full-time and part-time students, allowing as many potential learners as possible to benefit from financial aid and pursue higher education. CNC offers a wide range of programs at various academic levels, covering an extensive selection of subjects, each with its own specific set of admission requirements. These requirements are tailored to meet the needs of the program and ensure that students are well-prepared for their studies.

Both domestic and international students are able to submit an application online using EducationPlannerBC, a convenient platform that streamlines the process.
For courses which start in the fall, it is highly recommended that students complete and submit their application before March 31st of the same year to meet the priority deadline. This increases the likelihood of securing a place in their chosen program. CNC may continue to accept late applications if spaces remain available after this date, however students are encouraged to apply early to avoid any potential issues with program availability.

CNC offers its students a selection of courses that are relevant to the workforce of today and the future. CNC has six main academic departments, through which its courses are delivered. These are:
Business & Management - Students gain key tools and skills to launch and manage a business, and advance in their professional careers.
Health Sciences - Students receive theoretical education, complemented by hands-on training in simulated work environments, benefitting from small class sizes for a more personalised learning experience.
Human Services - Instructors equip students to work in various community settings, supporting the growth and development of children, families, and diverse groups.
Technologies - Students learn in both classroom and lab settings, developing theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills that make them highly sought-after by employers.
Trades - With a growing demand for skilled tradespeople in the region, CNC’s Foundations and Apprentice programs teach essential techniques while fostering innovation in various trades.
University Studies - CNC offers students an affordable, high-quality pathway to a degree, allowing them to complete up to 60 university credits before transferring to one of British Columbia’s public universities, colleges, or institutes.

The international department is a hub for international students, and is available all year round to answer questions, connecting overseas students with additional resources and ensuring that they have a positive college experience. Academic advising is available to help navigate the academic side of college, making sure students have the guidance needed to reach their goals. Accessibility services work to remove barriers for students with additionally needs or disabilities, promoting equal access to education.
CNC's bookstore and cafeteria offer convenience on campus, while counselling services provide confidential support for any personal challenges students may face. For financial guidance, financial aid and awards are available to help students access funding, scholarships, and awards.
Health and wellness resources are designed to keep students physically and mentally well during their studies.
