Fanshawe College is located in Canada’s city of London, Ontario and welcomes more than 7,000 international students from more than 100 different countries. Known as the ‘Forest City’, London is surrounded by beautiful parks and lakes. Fanshawe College is a vibrant business and cultural hub only two hours from Toronto, Niagara Falls and the USA.
As one of Ontario's largest colleges, with additional campuses in Simcoe, St. Thomas, Woodstock and downtown Toronto, as well as campuses in downtown London and London South, Fanshawe offers more than 200 degree, diploma and certificate programs.
The campus is set across 100 scenic acres and includes state-of-the-art learning and sports facilities. Students can choose from an array of homestay, residences or private rentals and all full-time students in blended programs receive a London Transit bus pass, health plan and access to the Student Wellness Centre.

Over CAD 370,000 worth of scholarships are available for international students, and Fanshawe focuses on co-operative education, integrating academic learning and employment to allow students to work while studying. Its renowned Centre for Research and Innovation enables students to provide solutions to real-world problems presented by industry partners.
As a member of the Canadian Bureau of International Education, student exchange opportunities are available in Europe, South America, Asia and the Nordic countries. Other partnerships provide opportunities for students to explore over 500 academic pathways across Canada and globally.

Fanshawe strongly believes that international education is a valuable experience that enables students to understand other cultures and explore the world but it is also beneficial for employment opportunities.
Fanshawe offers semester-long international exchange opportunities in countries all around the globe including Belgium, Brazil, Ecuador, England, Ireland, Italy, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and Wales. For students who do not want to spend the whole semester abroad, Fanshawe also offers month-long cultural exchanges to France, Finland, India and Japan.
According to the recently released Key Performance Indicators (KPI) survey results, Fanshawe College ranks above the provincial average for graduate satisfaction and graduate employment rate (KPI – 2020/2021).
Fanshawe offers more than 60 co-operative education programs where students can “earn while they learn”. Ontario’s minimum wage is now CAD 15.00 per hour and co-op wages usually range between CAD 15.00 per hour and CAD 18.00 per hour, depending on the position.
Fanshawe also prepares students for their careers in Canada with a two-day Fanshawe Works series before classes start. New international students are offered sessions on resumes, Canadian workplace expectations, job searching in a virtual world, as well as an employer panel and an alumni panel to prepare them for life after graduation.

International students entering a full-time post-secondary program at Fanshawe for the first time may be eligible for an International Entrance Scholarship worth CAD 500 to 2,000.
These entrance scholarships vary by region, but include opportunities for students from many countries around the globe. To be eligible, students must have a valid study permit, be in their first post-secondary program at Fanshawe, and meet the requirements listed for each award. Available scholarships include:
International students applying through the SDS Program (Student Direct Stream) from Antigua and Barbuda, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Senegal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and Vietnam should note that the SDS IELTS requirements are 6.0 with no score less than 6.0 in any of the four bands.
