St. Francis Xavier University is based out of the picturesque town of Antigonish in Nova Scotia. Established in 1853, StFX has a long and proud tradition of fostering academic excellence. StFX offers a number of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs through its four constituent faculties. These are the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Business. Research is carried out in areas as varied as infant health, climate research and high performance computing.
