Throughout this course, you’ll gain the technical expertise to design and validate electrical systems and equipment. You’ll study in diverse areas such as electrical design, project management, process control, variable speed drives and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Our industry experienced teachers will give you all the support you need to succeed. This course provides a solid foundation for further tertiary study and is also suitable for individuals already working in the electrical industry who wish to upgrade their qualifications. Please note, this course is not a pathway to becoming a licensed electrician. To legally perform electrical work in Australia, you must complete a four-year apprenticeship, obtain a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) and hold a valid electrical licence. If you trained as an electrician overseas, you may be eligible to have your qualification recognised through the Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP).
