The Cybersecurity major will equip you with theoretical and technical knowledge and skillsets to become leaders in various cybersecurity job roles. Also, the major offers an opportunity for you to become politically and socially minded leaders in the cybersecurity space. Leveraging the University of Sydney's research strengths and leadership in cybersecurity, you will learn about state-of-the-art attack and defence techniques, assess networked systems' security, and apply cybersecurity strategies at the organizational level.The Bachelor of Advanced Computing/Bachelor of Commerce is a combined undergraduate coursework degree that will develop your knowledge and skills in computing while cultivating business expertise. Underpinned by critical analytical and leadership skills, this course is accredited by the Australian Computer Society.You will complete core units that cover the skills needed to work as a computing professional, along with a major from the Advanced Computing disciplinary pool and advanced computing elective units.Additionally, you will complete Commerce degree core units and a major from the Commerce disciplinary pool. You will also complete units from the Open Learning Environment and elective units as needed to meet the requirements of the course.
