The combined Bachelor of Advanced Computing and Bachelor of Science (Health) program will develop your technical skills in computing while you also explore the latest developments in health and healthcare systems. Combine research and interdisciplinary study to lead the next wave of healthcare innovation. As technology plays an increasingly important role in healthcare provision, there is a vast opportunity for innovation and development. The Bachelor of Advanced Computing is accredited by the Australian Computer Society and designed to foster your ability to work across the computing, information technology and business innovation industries. First year covers the core skills you will need to become an computing professional before you specialise in a major that aligns with your preferred career pathway computer science, information systems, software development or computational data science. Complementing your computing degree, the Bachelor of Science (Health) provides a thorough grounding in health and health systems at the local, national and global level. You will complete a major in health, with core units in areas such as human biology, psychology and eHealth ensuring you develop a breadth of knowledge in healthcare and its latest developments before specialising in areas of interest and pursuing an optional second major. You can complete this combined degree program in five years of full-time study, after which you will graduate with two qualifications. An ageing population and a range of global health issues mean your skills and experience will position you to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be considered for admission, an applicant is required to have:

an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification or

an Australian bachelor's degree or higher with less than a credit average (minimum 50 percent required), and satisfactory performance in the GMAT (for guidance, the class average score is 630) or GMAT Focus Edition (for guidance, the class average score is 585) or equivalent Business School approved admissions test.
