What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) develops the skills to integrate exercise and physical activity with disease prevention and the promotion of good health, rehabilitation, nutrition and sports performanceYou will learn how to integrate exercise and physical activity with health, sports performance and disease prevention. Exercise scientists help people recover from injury, maximise the performance of elite athletes, promote healthy ageing and improve people's health and wellbeing.The Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sports Science) is an undergraduate coursework degree that provides you with the skills to integrate exercise and physical activity program design and delivery with disease prevention and the promotion of good health. Over three years you will complete core units, the major in Exercise Science and the minor in Physical Activity and Health.You will also complete a minimum of 140 hours of placement experience across two units in the final year. Additionally, you can complete an optional second minor or second major from either the disciplinary pool or the shared pool, and any electives as needed to make up the requirements of the course from the disciplinary pool, shared pool or the Open Learning Environment.

Entry requirements

For international students

A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.

IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
