Lead the way in a rapidly changing profession that impacts everyone. With UNSW’s Bachelor of Architectural Studies, you’ll learn how to design buildings and places to meet the needs and enhance the experiences of those who inhabit them. Consider space, materials, technologies and the environment to create architecture that improves the lives of people and communities.

Help to shape future environments with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies at UNSW. This three-year degree is internationally recognised for its real-world relevance and research-informed teaching, setting you up with the skills to design spaces that enrich the lives of the people who inhabit them.

Participate in thought-provoking discussions, tackle hands-on projects and complete coursework directly related to the evolving architecture industry. Consider your practical, ethical and moral responsibilities as an architect, learning how architectural design can either promote or hinder sustainability, inclusivity and connectivity in a community. Mixing theory and practice, you’ll dive into the history, theory and science behind architectural design.

If you’re passionate about a career in architecture, our Bachelor of Architectural Studies is a powerful stepping stone. Most of our undergraduate architecture students go on to complete a Master of Architecture at UNSW, which has professional accreditation from the NSW Architects Registration Board and Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA).
