What will I learn?

Anthropology is the study of humanity in the broadest sense. Anthropology at Deakin focuses on the ways human society creates its communities in diverse cultural settings. Studies in anthropology prepare you to understand and work with people in diverse and international settings. Topics studied include poverty and development, crime and violence, belief systems, health and illness and human ecology. You may find employment in community relations, the education sector, government departments, the health industry, media corporations, research consultancies and welfare organisations.
