Screen Studies explores the rich history of moving pictures and their transformation into today's rapidly changing screen cultures- from silent films to streaming services. The Screen Studies major focuses on how screens mediate our understanding of the world past and present, and provides students with the tools to analyse how screens of all types shape our daily lives. It prompts students to examine how screen media create meaning, and to explore transnational understandings of cinematic, televisual and new media productions.
