What will I learn?

Financial technology (FinTech) is a rapidly growing field in finance where technology is used to create, enhance, and sometimes disrupt financial services. Think: peer-to-peer lending, robo-advice, and decentralised finance like Bitcoin. In the past few years, financial technology has been a hot topic at industry conferences both in Australia and worldwide. This major will get you in on the ground floor of this rapidly evolving area. When you study FinTech, you’ll learn about these innovative technologies, as you also also learn the foundations of problem-solving for business success – setting you up with a set of skills that you can adapt in diverse roles and industries.
