What will I learn?

Learn how to innovate and shape behaviour with La Trobe's accredited Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Psychological Science. Co-designed with industry leaders, our double degree gives you commercial knowledge and skills, as well as a deep understanding of the human mind. Understand what drives human choices and how businesses can meet consumer needs. Establish a grounding in psychology, exploring theories on individuals, groups and whole societies. Learn how experiences and incentives impact individual and group behaviour and how this knowledge can be applied in business. By completing La Trobe's Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Psychological Science, you will: explore our commercial environment and learn how to create better systems and solutions for people and the planet develop critical skills in independent research, innovative thinking, cultural intelligence, oral and written communication, and teamwork learn how to identify practical solutions to real-world challenges, improve your ability to negotiate with stakeholders and communicate your solutions gain real-world experience through industry placements, work-integrated learning projects and overseas student exchange opportunities graduate with the prerequisites to apply for Honours in psychology, with the potential to pursue postgraduate study and registration as a psychologist.

Entry requirements

For international students

To enter our undergraduate programs, at a minimum youll need to have completed Australian Year 12 (or an accepted international equivalent) with a certain grade and minimum English language requirements. You may also need to meet subject prerequisites.Subject prerequisitesUnits 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.
