This double degree will give you an interdisciplinary education enabling you to work in two diverse career paths, providing you with enhanced marketability as a graduate. The Bachelor of International Studies draws on politics, economics, sociology and history to examine the relationships between nations, societies and cultures across a range of countries. You will analyse global and national issues, focusing on how global forces and international issues influence domestic politics. Be future-focused by learning to address the most important challenges that the world’s communities face today including globalisation, migration, climate change, religion, peace and conflict, the rich-poor gap and sustainability. You will study a major in Global Politics and International Relations as well as other core subjects allowing you to apply your knowledge and skills to real-life scenarios. The Bachelor of Communication degree is designed to develop critical thinking and communication skills encompassing a wide range of subjects with a core program of Media Studies practice and theory, and specialised major sequences in Advertising, Journalism and Public Relations.
