What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Creative Practice specialising in Design Communications develops the creative, strategic and technical capabilities needed for contemporary communication design practice. Through a combination of graphic design, digital media, brand identity systems, communication design, emerging technologies, futures thinking and collaborative practice, students learn to create meaningful visual communication solutions that respond to user, audience, industry and community needs.

The degree combines practical studio learning with technical production skills, enabling students to develop expertise across print, digital and emerging design communication environments. Students progressively build skills in visual communication, design research, audience analysis, identity systems, interaction design, strategic thinking, human-centred design, stakeholder engagement and professional design practice.
