Blend extension legal skills with media production for a dynamic career in communication and law.
This course is designed for those seeking to acquire legal knowledge and skills with added film, video, sound production and new media capabilities.
You'll engage with the fundamentals of the legal system and the legal frames that underpin a range of creative ventures, as well as the conceptual, theoretical and production skills required for a successful media career.
You will have the unique opportunity to combine studies in film, video, sound and new media with studies in law, gaining a first-hand perspective of the production process, the creation of intellectual property in media production and the functions of various crew roles, including directors and producers through producing and exhibiting your own short film, video, sound production or new media programs.
The honours component in law comprises two research subjects enabling you to develop advanced research, critical analysis and communication skills that can be used in further higher degree research such as Master of Laws or PhD.
