If you want to be at the cutting edge of a field that's both a national and international strategic priority, UTS's dual Bachelor of Criminology Bachelor of Cybersecurity is for you.Undertaking two qualifications, you'll get the skills to understand, measure and evaluate crime and its effects, all while building the IT capabilities you need to become an in-demand cybersecurity professional. As a graduate, you'll be ready to take on the challenge of cybercrime and play a critical role in protecting people from digital threats.You'll commence your studies with a range of core subjects from both your Criminology and Cybersecurity courses. This will see you build knowledge and competency in relevant aspects of IT, such as computing, web systems, nets and databases, as well as in critical areas of Criminology such as law, data analysis, research and policy. Then, your choice of Criminology electives and Cybersecurity options will further your knowledge. In your final year, you'll bring together your knowledge to complete both an industry-based Criminology project and a Cybersecurity studio.
