Through design studios, you'll engage in practice-oriented projects that mirror industry processes, fostering creativity and future-focused thinking. Collaborative and individual projects, often linked with industry or cultural partners, will refine your professional skills.The teaching methodology is interactive and hands-on, blending individual and group with real-world projects and industry s. You'll develop high-level conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, leading to innovative and entrepreneurial outcomes. Acquire competencies in critical and creative thinking, invention, and future scenario planning, equipping you to excel in a rapidly evolving global market.Students must complete 240 credit points, comprising 144 credit points in fashion and textiles, and 96 credit points in creative intelligence and innovation. The creative intelligence and innovation subjects are undertaken in accelerated form in July and Summer sessions during the first three years of study, and through one full year of study after completion of the professional degree. The Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation is not offered as a separate degree, but is completed only in combination with the professional degree program.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Frame Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level.

Admission to the combined degree is on merit according to the admissions policy for the Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles.

Students must refer to the portfolio eligibility for the facultys consideration in order to get a place.
