The Bachelor of Design (Honours) is a one-year, full-time program available to graduates of undergraduate design degrees. You’ll receive expert mentoring in fashion and textiles, product design, or visual communication through two intensive studio subjects. Explore your chosen project topic, experiment with advanced techniques, and create a range of innovative design outputs. By the end of the program, you will be able to showcase a professional design project and a written academic paper that highlights your research and creative process.

Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline at an appropriate level.
Applicants with a degree which is equivalent to the UTS Bachelor of Design in Photography or Product Design or Fashion and Textiles or Visual Communication and who have attained an overall minimum WAM of 65.0 or above will need to submit the admission application, and must provide the following additional material in order to be considered for a place in the Bachelor of Design (Honours):
Students must refer to the inherent requirements for all degrees offered by Design and Architecture in the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building.
