What will I learn?

The first of its kind in Australia, two of the world's leading institutions for the humanities and social sciences - the University of Sydney's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Sciences Po in France - have come together to offer students a dual degree program.Anyone interested in furthering their studies in French and learning about other cultures while living in France for 2 years. The program offers an international learning experience and the opportunity to apply this learning to an Australian context.The dual degree program incorporates a four-year structure as follows:Year One: France – commencing in August at one of three Sciences Po regional campuses. In the first year, students take introductory courses in each foundational discipline.Year Two: France – continue study at the selected regional campus. In the second year, students continue with advanced study of the disciplines through a multidisciplinary perspective while diving into coursework related to their multidisciplinary major of choice: Economy and Society, Political Humanities, or Politics and Government.Year Three: Sydney – all students move to the University of Sydney for year three, commencing in July (Semester 2)Year Four: Sydney – final year of study which will be completed in June.
