Through hands-on projects, you’ll turn ideas into functional gameplay by writing, testing and refining code that drives movement, input, events and player feedback. As your skills advance, you’ll dive into specialised areas of game programming including file systems, optimisation, mobile development, AI, and multiplayer networking. You’ll learn how to manage data, optimise memory and rendering, create believable AI behaviours, and design systems that connect players across devices and networks, all while maintaining performance and scalability.
