A Bachelor of Laws with Honours offers a solid foundation for a number of legal careers, no matter your interests or aspirations.The practical nature of an LLB Honours degree means that your training begins on day one with our guaranteed clinical legal education program and on-site Moot courtroom. You will also have the option to take your studies overseas and apply your legal experience in diverse settings with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) single or double degree.In the first year of your Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree, you will be introduced to the concepts, procedures and reasoning underpinning the Australian legal system. A rigorous foundational training will prepare you to pursue the areas of the law most aligned with your interests and career goals. Customise your pathway with a diverse range of specialist law electives like Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Media Law or Animal Law. Alternatively, choose from non-law electives across the university with your choice to pursue a double degree in fields as diverse as art, music or science.

Entry requirements

For international students

All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Most Monash faculties generally use your most recent studies for admission however other guidelines may apply where your prior qualification may be considered
