Students study a diverse range of courses. You'll cover technical design, automation, and operational performance of electromechanical systems. Mechatronics engineers work in industries such as defence, advanced manufacturing, mining and health.Mathematics is fundamental to breakthrough engineering – and can open up new, complimentary fields like data mining, mathematical modelling, statistics and predictive analysis. Complete these two degrees in just five years. Mechatronics engineers work in a wide range of industries. Roles are flexible and diverse. You may prefer hands-on fieldwork or design and development. This combined degree will deepen your technical skills and employment opportunities.Almost all industries need mechanical engineers. They can work in medical, transport, aerospace, electronics, mining, renewable energy, robotics, automation and advanced manufacturing industries.
