Certificate III Community Services applies to community work delivered through a broad range of services that provide support to individuals and groups through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include the day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs. You will learn effective communication strategies and gain cultural awareness and skills in advocacy to be able to provide emotional and practical support to clients, including initiating referrals.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Applicants should be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of application and must be 18 years of age at the commencement of the course. Students must also be able to obtain several security clearance checks.
