What will I learn?

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in a range of skills required in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, and cafes. You will learn waiting styles from fine dining through to cafe style service, and also be trained in other areas of hospitality, such learning how to operate a bar, pour wines, make cocktails, take orders, mix drinks and make good coffee. In this course, you will learn to work effectively with others in the hospitality context, and source and use a range of information on the Hospitality industry. You’ll get plenty of opportunities to get hands-on experience working effectively in hospitality service and in providing a quality service to customers, as well as learning how to show social and cultural sensitivity to both customers and colleagues.
