This course supports clean economy by integrating sustainable innovation, eco-friendly solutions or climate-conscious practices. Its delivery aligns with Victoria’s strategic vision for developing a workforce equipped for a sustainable future. This course aims to provide you with knowledge and skills in the field of light vehicle mechanics. You will study a range of specialist modules including petrol fuel systems, cooling systems and associated components, transmissions (automatic), final drive assemblies, diagnostic procedures and electronic drive management systems.
This course requires face to face classroom study and compulsory work placement (arranged by Kangan Institute) of 300 hours. Classes will be scheduled between 8.00am and 9.00pm Monday to Friday. Timetables will be confirmed at orientation.
