This qualification is designed for support workers in aged care, whether they work in residential facilities, clients' homes, or community settings. It equips workers to carry out specialized tasks while taking responsibility for their own work within organizational guidelines and ensuring high-quality service delivery through the development, facilitation, and review of individualized service plans. Support workers in aged care may need to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for overseeing the work of others within specified boundaries. Candidates must complete a minimum of 120 hours of work as outlined in the Assessment Requirements of the competency units to achieve this qualification. There are no specific licensing, legislative, regulatory, or certification requirements for this qualification at the time of publication. Course Duration: 55 weeks
