Entry requirements
For international students
An undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution; or Hold a professional qualification such as a Certificate of Competency as a Master Class 1 (Unlimited) or Engineer Class 1/Chief Engineer (Unlimited); or If a first degree or professional qualification is not held, prospective candidates may apply the Department of Maritime and Logistics Management for consideration. These applicants are assessed on their work experience and current managerial responsibilities. The units in this course form part of the Master of Business Administration in Maritime Management (P7H) as well as the Graduate Diploma of Maritime Management (P6H). If you have a cognate educational or work background and are contemplating progressing towards P7H we recommend that you consider P7H as your starting point. We also recommend that you apply for advanced standing (credit) as you may be eligible for a reduced duration of study in P7H. A cognate undergraduate degree would be in the same or related area eg, maritime management, logistics management, supply chain management, nautical science, marine engineering, maritime engineering (naval architecture, ocean engineering), and business management; or any Bachelor degree with a major in business, logistics management, and supply chain management. Cognate industry experience would be in the fields of maritime, transport, logistics and supply chain.
