The Graduate Certificate of Professional Accounting program is designed for students with a degree in a field other than accounting who wish to obtain an introduction to accounting concepts and procedures. Entry requirements

For international students

Entry into the Graduate Certificate in Professional accounting (40 units) will be available for applicants who have:

  • 3 year Bachelors Degree not in the discipline; or
  • 3 year Diploma in the discipline; or
  • 3 year Diploma not in the discipline + 1 year relevant business experience; or
  • 2 year Diploma in the discipline + 2 years relevant business experience; or
  • 2 year Diploma not in the discipline + 3 years relevant business experience; or
  • At least 5 years business experience.

Students will be required to successfully complete a Business Academic Skills Program (BASP) which will be of 6 weeks duration. The BASP will be non-fee based and can be completed concurrently with courses in the Graduate Certificate.

Only after the successful completion of the Graduate Certificate and the academic skills program will students be eligible to formally enrol in the Masters Program. They will, however, receive 40 units credit by virtue of the studies they will have already completed. Therefore they will be required to do an additional 80 units to complete their Masters Degree.

TOEFL paper-based test score of 550; TOEFL internet based score of 79;
