What will I learn?

This program will provide you with a foundational understanding of the ways cities and sites are constructed: physically, socially and environmentally, in addition to the knowledge and skills required for professional planning practice.This course is for graduates with a bachelor’s degree in human geography, design or related field, seeking a professional education in urban and regional planning. It is also ideal for graduates of the Bachelor of Architecture and Environments.The Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning provides the foundational knowledge and skills for professional planning practice. The program introduces students to key planning theories and debates whilst instilling the necessary professional knowledge and skills required to underpin professional planning practice.Areas of study include history and theory in urban planning, planning procedures and planning law.
