What will I learn?

This program will provide you with an understanding of the ways cities and sites are constructed: physically, socially and environmentally. You will develop the professional skills required to make valuable contributions to the policy, technical and regulatory aspects of urban and regional planning.This course is for graduates with a bachelor’s degree in human geography, design or related field, seeking a professional education in urban and regional planning. It is also ideal for graduates of the Bachelor of Architecture and Environments.Urban and regional planners work in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to guide urban and regional change and to manage the social, environmental, and economic impacts of development.

Entry requirements

For international students

Admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in Cross cultural and Applied Linguistics requires:

a bachelors degree or higher award from the University of Sydney, or a qualification deemed by the faculty to be equivalent; or

completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate certificate in this discipline or qualifications deemed by the faculty to be equivalent.
