What will I learn?

Designed for those who work in the IT industry and wish to further their career in Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Master of Artificial Intelligence provides students with a broad range of high-level computing knowledge, as well as insight into the design and implementation of AI systems, allowing them to become experts in the field. With AI computer systems now involved in decision-making across both the public and private sectors, AI as an industry is developing rapidly. This speed of growth will only accelerate in the future. RMIT is ranked among the world’s best in AI and Image Processing research by the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) and rated ‘above world standard’ by the Australian Research Council. Students in Vietnam will join one of the most specialised AI programs found in Australia and will learn from international experts. This program prepares students to apply advanced AI knowledge in a range of contexts, including professional or academic settings. Students will explore practical components of developing AI applications and platforms and understand the role that ethics and social responsibility play in the future of technology.

Entry requirements

For international students

A bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least of 2.0 out of 4.0, in one of the following disciplines: computing, science, engineering, health or statistics; or A bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0 in another discipline and; relevant completed higher education courses in programming and statistics, or a minimum of three years of current, relevant work experience or professional practice in programming and statistics or equivalent.
