What will I learn?

The Master of Business Information Systems (MBIS) program equips graduates and professionals from any discipline to become evidence-based decision makers, innovative problem solvers, responsible social citizens, and future leaders. The MBIS program provides specialised knowledge and skills in the area of business information systems and can be tailored to include a second specialisation.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students must achieve a minimum 60% weighted average mark in the first 48 units of courses attempted in order to remain enrolled in the Master of Actuarial Practice. Students who do not achieve a minimum of 60% weighted average mark in the first 48 units will be transferred to the Graduate Diploma in Business.

For international students

A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a credit average (GPA 5.0/7.0)

Or An ANU Graduate Certificate in management with a credit average (GPA 5.0/7.0).

A successfully completed Evidence-Based Management EdX Micro Masters, achieving at least 70% in the final capstone exam.

Academic IELTS overall score of 6.5 with at least 6 in each component of the test; TOEFL internet based test score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening; TOEFL paper based test score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5; Cambridge CAE Advanced score of 176 overall with at least 169 in all sub skills; PTE Academic score of Overall 64, minimum score of 55 in each section.
