What will I learn?

The Master of Clinical Rehabilitation - 2 years requires 2 years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course is offered by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The program exposes you to the principles and practice of clinical rehabilitation and provides the opportunity of studying in an area relevant to your field of clinical practice. The coursework masters provides training in research methods and enables you to develop either research expertise or advanced practice skills in clinical rehabilitation and apply this to a specific project. The research masters enables you to gain an understanding of the principles and practice of clinical rehabilitation, receive training in research methods, and undertake a significant research project in the form of a thesis.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation or the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification in a health related area from an approved tertiary institution. In addition applicants must have at least two years' post degree experience in a related clinical area. Applicants who have at least two years post degree work experience in a related clinical area within an Australian context may be eligible for 18 units of credit towards the Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation, including the 9 units of the placement topic plus 9 units of elective topics.

English language requirements

IELTS (Academic): 6.0 Overall with 6.0 Speaking, 6.0 Writing; TOEFL iBT: 72 Total score with 18 Speaking, 21 Writing; Pearson PTE Academic: 50 Overall with 50 Speaking, 50 Writing; Cambridge C1 Advanced: 169 Overall with 169 Speaking, 169 Writing; Occupational English Test (OET): 300 Speaking, 300 Writing, 300 Reading, 300 Listening; Duolingo (Up to and including Semester 2, 2024): Overall 95-100
