What will I learn?

IT professionals are in demand across industries, including information technology, telecommunications technology, and digital media, with an increasing need for skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning deployment, cybersecurity, data analytics, and software programming.* A career in IT could see you running your own business or working with international companies such as IBM, Intel, Microsoft, and Samsung. The Master of Information Technology and Systems (MITS) provides broad knowledge and practical skills across key areas of information technology (IT) and information systems (IS). It is designed for people from all backgrounds, not just those with IT experience, helping you build on your existing skills and strengthen your ability to contribute to industries that rely on technology and systems. You can customise your learning to suit your career goals by choosing from seven specialisations. Select up to two areas covering advanced IT and IS fields. This flexibility allows you to build expertise and develop the skills needed to progress your career.
