Additionally, students will have an opportunity to explore more advanced cyber security topics and the latest industry trends such as the use of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology for threat management and mitigation. Students will also have an opportunity to complete a Cyber Security IT Consulting Project as well as gain real-world work experience through their Professional Placement. With a strong emphasis on industry relevance, the ICMS MIT (Cyber Security) degree goes beyond theoretical knowledge, placing students in real-world IT job settings as an integral part of their qualifications. As an ICMS MIT (Cyber Security) student you will have the opportunity to complete a Professional Placement (internship) in an Australian or international business within your two (2) Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subjects, included within the degree. Professional placements are arranged for you by the dedicated ICMS WIL team who will work with you to secure an individually tailored internship role aimed at building your Australian business networks and connections, as well as providing real life work experience that supports your future career aspirations.
