What will I learn?

The Master of International Business focuses on developing knowledge, skills and the understanding required to be a successful manager for organisations with an international focus. A Master of International Business will provide graduates with superior knowledge and skills to devise and implement strategic decisions that operate in the global business environment. The Master of International Business focuses on developing skills and understanding required to be a successful manager for organisations with an international focus by enriching student’s knowledge on various areas of a global business including international strategy, marketing across countries, international human resources management and cross cultural negotiation.Graduates of the Master of International Business understand the complex dynamics of multinational firms and the global economic environment in which they operate. Our students will be able to conduct strategic analysis of business opportunities in an international context. Graduates will also be able to comprehend how national and international economic, political, legal and commercial organisations and institutions impact upon multinational and domestic enterprises.

Entry requirements

For international students

Entry into the Master of International Business will be available for applicants who have:

Bachelors degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, in the discipline; or

Bachelors degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, not in the discipline and 1-year relevant organizational experience; or

At least 7 years' relevant organizational experience, including 2 years in a management position; or

Successful completion of 75% (30 units) of one of the following UoN College of Human and Social Futures programs:

Graduate Certificate in Business Administration

Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance

Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management

Graduate Certificate in Marketing

Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting

TOEFL paper-based test score of 550; TOEFL internet based score of 79;
