What will I learn?

The School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy provides world-class education for students interested in careers in Biomedical Science and Pharmacy. It also contributes to the medical, allied health, and nursing degrees offered by the Faculty of Health and Medicine. The School of Biomedical Science and Pharmacy has primary responsibility for the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (including Biomedical Science Honours 2019), as of 2013 the new Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) The Bachelor of Biomedical Science has an intake of approximately 100 students per year and is rated by students as one of the University's most sought after degrees.

Entry requirements

For international students

i) have satisfied all of the requirements for admission to the degree of Bachelor with Honours Class 1 or Honours Class II, Division 1 or any other degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; orii) have satisfied all the requirements for admission to a degree of Bachelor in the University or another degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; oriii) in exceptional cases produce evidence of possessing such other academic or professional qualifications and/or experience as may be approved by the Head of School; oriv) in the disciplines of education, medical physics, nursing, social work, social sciences and surgery have completed a minimum standard of professional experience as required by the Head of School; and
