The Communicable Disease Control specialisation is designed for students with an interest in learning about patterns of communicable disease and the principles and practicalities of developing programs to control and prevent this.The Master of Public Health is a postgraduate coursework degree that will give you the essential knowledge and skills required for practitioners in public health, including the effective management of community health problems to improve conditions and outcomes.You will complete core units covering foundational public health concepts including epidemiology, biostatistics, health promotion, research and ethics. You will also complete elective units, and you can choose to use your elective credit point allowance to complete an optional specialisation.
