The social research specialisation will offer applied skills in quantitative and qualitative research methods relevant to social research, program evaluation and policy research. The specialisation allows students to gain exposure to basic quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as choose a pathway to explore more advanced disciplinary applications.The specialisation will also be a useful pathway for postgraduate coursework dissertation students interested in building skills for a future research degree.The Master of Public Policy is a postgraduate coursework degree that will further develop your understanding of policy design and implementation, while providing insights into the opportunities and constraints stemming from political, social, economic, civil and technological factors.You will complete core units covering migration, corruption, crises management, governance and environment, and you will complete a capstone unit comprising either a research project or dissertation. You will also complete elective units as needed to meet the requirements of your course.
