What will I learn?

Our course provides students with the knowledge and skills to make significant contributions to therapeutic product research, development, evaluation, regulation and monitoring for the health and wellbeing of the community. As part of your degree, you will also complete a research project.



Our course is designed for health professionals and graduates with a science background wishing to pursue careers that relate to the development and safe use of medicines, cell and gene therapies and medical devices.

Entry requirements

For international students

completion of the requirements for the Master of Science in Medicine (Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Development)

an average mark of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream units of study

any other requirements as stated by the Faculty at the time of application.
