The Master of Speech Language Pathology prepares you for professional practice as a speech pathologist, developing the skills to assess and treat people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures, and change lives by making it easier for people to communicate.The Master of Speech Language Pathology is a graduate entry program designed to accommodate all qualified candidates regardless of their previous discipline. A career in speech pathology gives you the opportunity to work across hospitals, private practice, schools and early childhood services.The Master of Speech Language Pathology is a postgraduate coursework degree that will prepare you for professional practice as a speech pathologist, developing the skills to assess and treat people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures, and change lives by making it easier for people to communicate with others or swallow safely. Graduates from this program are qualified for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia which allows them to work as speech pathologists in Australia.You will complete core units in speech pathology theory and practice according to a prescribed course of study, including a minimum of 744 hours of professional placements.
