What will I learn?

This program prepares students for careers working with young children, in a variety of educational and care settings such as preschools, kindergartens, and daycares. Students learn about child development, child psychology, and early childhood education theories and methods, as well as practical skills such as lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.The program covers topics such as child health and safety, family and community partnerships, and cultural diversity and includes practical experiences such as fieldwork, practicums, and student teaching.
