What will I learn?

With experiential learning at its core, Trent’s Environmental Geoscience program introduces students to advanced topics in resource extraction across multiple disciplines in geology, biology, chemistry, mathematics and geography, with guidance from leading field experts. Here you will receive specialized geoscience training while you develop hands-on skills in field methods, mineralogy, petrology, structural geology, and geophysics. With multiple field courses, work placements, and applied learning opportunities, this professionally accredited program also equips you with the requirements to receive your Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (P. Geo.) accreditation.
