What will I learn?

Biomedical engineers work to improve technological solutions to medical and surgical challenges. The program is highly interdisciplinary between the Schools of Engineering Science and Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology, with students learning from faculty from both schools and gaining a strong foundation of both engineering skills and biomedical expertise.In this program, you will solve problems with elegant but advanced solutions, from electronics to robotics to medical devices. You will bring your expert technical skills from the classroom to your mandatory co-op work experience, gaining valuable industry experience. By third year, you will specialize in one of five main options. The Engineering Science program in the Faculty of Applied Sciences offers you the opportunity to work in your field in a co-operative education placement.

Entry requirements

For international students

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses
