Students pursuing the bachelor of arctic and subarctic interdisciplinary studies (BASIS) will typically take the following courses in their first year, Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to learn in classroom-based, land-based, and experiential settings, integrated throughout their degree. All classroom-based courses are numerically graded. All land-based and experiential courses are pass/fail (PAS/FAL). Students must successfully complete all courses in Modules 1 and 2 prior to registering for courses in Modules 3 through 11. Modules 3 through 11 must be successfully completed prior to registering for courses in Module 12. Students who have been accepted to the BASIS program should contact Mckenzie Hutchings, Recruitment, Retention, and Relationships Officer at the Labrador Campus for assistance with course selection.
