What will I learn?

Youll learn how to research collect and analyze data to understand the problems people face in society. Immerses yourself in a rigorous and cosmopolitan academic training where youll study the social world and the behavior of people in a variety of situations. Youll examine individual and group identity human nature and communities.The range of courses we offer are as diverse as the discipline itself. In all courses our program is committed to two goals the development of strong research skills and building a critical edge in students so they engage with real-world examples of power and social inequality on an academic and practical level.We encourage you to find your own intellectual voice while you receive a solid education in Sociology and Social Anthropologys two distinct intellectual and methodological heritages.
