What will I learn?

Economics examines the operation of market economies to discover regularities of behaviour and develops a deeper understanding of how its principles apply locally and globally. To achieve understanding in economics means moving into the realm of theory, analysis, and technical terms. Ultimately the expectation is that through better understanding of economics, society will be able to remedy undesirable results and achieve better ones.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be considered for admission, a university-preparatory language arts course and generally a minimum of four additional university-preparatory courses are required. Official transcripts: To be considered 'official,' transcripts must be forwarded directly to Mount Allison's registrar's office by the issuing institution. To be considered for admission, a minimum final grade of 65% or the equivalent is required in all university-preparatory courses reviewed. IB diploma International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma candidates with an overall minimum score of 26 (excluding core points) will be considered for admission.
